Who we are.

An interior architecture and design professional since 1993, Marie-Noëlle Swiderski has also been a documentary director and news producer, traveling the world on her own for 6 months for Canadian television. She believes her design approach is fed by all of her professional and life experiences and is aligned with her anthropologist father’s legacy, combining a constant curiosity with keen listening to create truly tailored transformations.

Following her documentary film career, Marie-Noëlle started her design career as an intern at Andrée Putman’s Ecart design studio in Paris, eventually moving to London after diverse roles in Paris and Montreal, and joining Blanchard as senior designer, managing a variety of projects.

In 2006, Marie-Noëlle moved to Dubai to launch an architectural and interior design studio, sister company to Blanchard, which after six years earned her the rank of 9th Most Influential Designer in the Middle East on the CID's Top 50 Power List in 2012, having won a variety of accolades at the CID and BGreen Awards, being a sought-after speaker at GCC region design events and a regular contributor to industry publications.

A BIID Registered Interior Designer, Marie-Noëlle has been based back in London since 2016 at the helm of GALUCHAT, her international design practice, coordinating a wide array of projects of varying scopes and budgets around the world - in English, French, Spanish and Italian. GALUCHAT’s unique, tailored design solutions continue to transform Marie-Noëlle’s clients’ lives and receive accolades, from HOUZZ, Surface Design Awards, OPAL - Outstanding Property Awards London.
